A couple of days ago as you already know from my Instagram update, it was another night to celebrate… The new Thomas Sabo Flagship Store Opening Party in Stuttgart starring David Garrett. So I just couldn’t miss the chance to make a short interview with this amazing person, who is at the same time Thomas Sabo Ambassador for their “Rebel at Heart” Collection.
As for the store and the party itself it was just incredible! Bright, classy and extremely stylish in b&w look the Flagship Store got a perfect place to buy the incredible jewelry for unforgettable moments. Charms, pendants, watches, cuffs … everything in an exquisite design including their menline of course! And it was a great opportunity to discover it before its official opening to the public.
And what made the guests literally melt was a cute candy-bar with the best macarons & cakes…
To avoid looking too dressed up I wore this two piece Giorgia&Johns combo and studded ZARA booties to keep it a bit more rock and roll.

In three words David Garrett as a person…David Christian Bongartz (Laughs).
Are there any special compositions or maybe composers that could describe your state of mind?
Sure, actually loads, for example Symphonies by Tchaikovsky, Bach Piano Concert, St. Matthew Passion by Bach, Brahms II Session etc.
You are a super talent, super violinist, super creative, super actor, super stylish, representative of a super Brand Thomas Sabo… What does the word „super“ means to you?Oh, thank you loads (Laughs). However the word „super“ is basically insignificant and meaningless for me. Sorry for saying this directly. It is actually all about being content with yourself and what you’ve created. Doing something with 101% of your energy, weather you do it right or wrong, is great. If you are talented in the area – 100% is fantastic and if not even 1% is great as well. It is all about acting upon your personal maxim…
Your latest purchase – highend or highstreet?
Let me think… Is highstreet something not that expensive, right? (Laughts) Well, I am not fond of shopping at all. I literally don’t invest much in my wardrobe. Let me say I’ve spent only a couple of hundreds on my wardrobe this year. And this is more than sufficient! I’ve being collecting my stuff through years: received something from my friends or just took away from the shoots , poor clothes, someone just had to store them,( laughs)! So there’s no need to buy anything in the nearest future.
What is your absolute must-have?
Oh, I am so into accessories as you can see! I don’t even part with them at night! Even if I take them off one can see the white spots because they are not tanned!
If you were just one accessory from the Thomas Sabo Collection „Rebel at Heart“ that you represent, which one would it be and why?!
What do you mean? (Laughs). I feel very comfortable being human, no need pretending to be an accessory. I better wear them on me!
David Garrett in 2015 – new plans, surprises for your fans, new projects… Would you reveal a bit?Are we still in 2014? (Laughs) Well, 2015 will be jam-packed with various activities. Among them: US promotion tour for my new movie, new classic CD release including promotion tour, 17 concerts … That is all I can reveal so far.
